Why Practise Kripalu Yoga?

Most yoga traditions teach the same core yoga postures.

The following explains some aspects that are unique to Kripalu yoga.

Each class begins with a gentle warm up, bringing                    awareness to your breath and an emphasis on being                present in your body.

You are able to choose the level of physical intensity that        is right for you.

It recognises that we are all different.

It activates the life force in the body called “prana”                  providing many benefits to health.

It encourages you to create a life style that supports your        well being by listening to your own body.

This yoga practise can be used “off your Mat” too as it            offers practical tools to foster psychological and spiritual          growth
